Throughout the summer, Moominworld hosts several special days, offering unique experiences not available on regular days!

June 11-12: Fillyfjonk's Garden Party. Fillyfjonk has moved into a new house near Moomin house. The Moomin family is curious about their new neighbor, and Mrs. Fillyfjonk, having heard that the Moominfamily is quite unique, becomes a source of pride for Moominpappa. The Moominfamily decides to throw a grand garden party to welcome her to Moominvalley.

June 17: Little My's day of great outdoor games

Join us for a fun day with Little My! Experience exciting activities with familiar outdoor games led by Little My herself. Activities include games like "Captain Says," led by Little My, and, of course, everyone's favorite game of "Mirror," among others!

June 21-22: Moomin Family´s Midsummer Ball

Participate in the grand Moomin Family Midsummer Ball, celebrated throughout Midsummer! Enjoy singing and dancing together, and the entire Moomin Valley is invited. The residents have prepared for the celebration - Snorkmaiden has crafted a magnificent flower crown to wear, Moomintroll has been practicing dance steps, and Moominpappa is in charge of the music. Additionally, at Snufkin's camp during Midsummer, you'll hear an exciting Midsummer story!

June 25: Snufkin's Day

 Snufkin has caught a huge haul of fish the previous night, and Too-Ticky has promised to cook a delicious fish soup from the catch. Snufkin, along with Too-Ticky, shares exciting fishing stories, and even Moominpappa might drop by to tell his own sea adventures.

August 6: Snorkmaiden's Day

 It's Snorkmaiden's day, time for a grand costume ball! Enjoy fantastic dance performances, atmospheric music, and a thrilling surprise for Snorkmaiden from Moomintroll. Join the festivities! Snorkmaiden's beauty salon serves customers all day with delightful hairstyles and impressive face paintings, concluding with the ball.

August 7: Moomintroll's Day

 It's Moomintroll's celebration day - come give him a congratulatory hug and spend a tremendously fun day with Moomintroll! At Theater Emma, before the day's performances, we'll sing a birthday song for Moomintroll with a triple hurrah! Moomintroll's friends have also prepared small gifts for the birthday celebrant. Guests can also participate in Moomintroll's gymnastics session and join the festive preparations at Moominhouse.

August 10-11: Signed Weekend in collaboration with DIAK

An event organized by Moominworld and Diak's interpretation students aims to bring the magical world closer to children who communicate in Finnish Sign Language (VK), signed speech (VP), or with some augmentative or alternative communication method (AAC methods).

August 18:Autumn Arrives in Moominvalley

It's the last day of summer, and the beautiful colors of autumn gradually take over the leaves of the trees. The Moominfamily prepares for hibernation by collecting needles and covering furniture with sheets. Snufkin, on the other hand, sets off on a long journey south. Join to bid farewell to the Moominfamily for a good winter sleep and wave goodbye to Snufkin!
