Preparation and dressing
It's advisable to dress as you would in the summer in Finland generally. Weather-appropriate and well-prepared clothing is best, so the day won't be ruined even if there's a storm!
Keep in mind that Moominworld is located on an island, so it might be windier than inland. And in Naantali, the sun often shines, so it's a good idea to have sunscreen with you. Good hydration is also essential to remember in hot weather. Moomin's island also has forests and shady areas (even the exciting Witch's Forest), but mostly, guests get to enjoy the sunshine. It's entirely allowed to bring your own food into Moominworld, so you might want to pack some, even though the restaurant offerings are fantastic.
In case of rain, you can take shelter in Moominhouse, but most of the time, you'll be outdoors, which is something to consider. The Moomins can still be met even if the weather is the kind that lures out the Hattifatteners. After all, Moominpappa loves storms!
Remember, there's also a beach on the island! What could be nicer than taking a dip in the cool water on a warm summer day? The beach is right outside the gates of Moominworld, and you can enter and exit freely by showing your wristband.
"Probably storms exist so that after them, we could have a sunrise." - Moominpappa
